Our Story
Buffalo Weck Fest, founded by two passionate weck enthusiasts, Greg Grenda and Tim Connelly, is a celebration of Buffalo’s iconic sandwich. Greg Grenda, a Buffalo native, grew up savoring his roast beef at esteemed local establishments like BarBill, Charlie the Butcher, and more recently, Moriarty Meats. He resides in downtown Buffalo with his wife and son. Tim, also a Buffalo native, honed his weck-making skills in various local restaurants and can be found eating his weck at Eckl’s. Join us at Weck Fest 2024 as we honor Buffalo’s original signature dish, the beloved Beef on Weck!
